Mateo Klimowicz joins Arminia Bielefeld from Stuttgart

Mateo Klimowicz has joined 2. Bundesliga team Arminia Bielefeld from Stuttgart.

Klimowicz has left Stuttgart and has joined the team on loan. Per César Luis Merlo, it would be a loan deal for one year with no obligation to buy.

The Argentine has undergone his medical and signed the contract. Earlier this year, Klimowicz had turned down a chance to represent the German national team as he is eligible for Argentina.

Still only 22 years old, he was born in Argentina but has represented Germany at youth level, including at the 2021 European U21 championship.

    • He wasn’t on fire like the last 2 games but he still performed well. Got an unnecessary yellow but Leicester had very few shots from open play so Lisandro and Varane held it down again. With Casemiro and maybe CR back into starting, defense will feel less pressure and the duo will only improve.

    • Licha was good but not the MOM like the previous 2. He got a yellow from stopping a Leicester forward in their counter attack. He did not make any major mistake. His passing was not as good as the previous 2 games but that’s about it. MU back line of Dalot-Varane-Licha-Malacia look very solid. Varane and Licha remind a lot of fans of Varane-Ramos of Madrid. The defense successfully neutralized all dangers from Leicester.

MU keep improving. Ten Hag keeps benching CR7, Maguire, and Shaw. They will just get stronger as he will insert Casemiro, Antony, and CR7 in the starting line up soon. Probably replacing Tominay, Elanga, and Sancho/Rashford.

Btw CR7 does not look happy at all being a sub.
