Inter monitoring four Argentine players in South America

Inter are monitoring four Argentine players in South America.

The reigning Serie A champions could become more Argentine. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are scouting Nicolás Valentini, Agustín Giay, Marco Di Cesare and Kevin Zenón.

Nicolás Valentini of Boca Juniors is a 23 year old centre back and he was recently part of the Argentina national team for the April friendly matches. Agustín Giay of San Lorenzo can play on the right side of the pitch, the 20 year old played as right back for the Argentina U23 team and in midfield and on the wing for San Lorenzo.

Marco Di Cesare of Racing is a 20 year old center back and Kevin Zenón is a 22 year old that can play on the left side of the pitch as a midfielder or forward.

  1. ) At the moment Guido Rodriguez is not among the options by Lionel Scaloni for the 23 men Copa America list. He could have more chances if CONMEBOL allows 26 men squad. @DiarioOle 🇦🇷

  2. From what I’ve seen of Giay in the U20, he’s OK, nothing spectacular, but we’re thin in the RB department, so I wonder if Scaloni and co will look to him as a possible solution going forward. Maybe he’s more impressive for San Lorenzo, not sure.

    Valentini is good, Di Cesare is meh, Kevin Zenón looks promising but at 22 he better move now, this summer.

      • I agree, Kevin is more of an impact player. Di Cesare and Valentini likely have an Italian/EU passport so that would make their potential move easier.
