Emiliano Martínez made some big saves for Aston Villa in their 0-0 draw against Everton.
Martínez was back in the starting eleven for Aston Villa after his transfer saga as he remained at the club. The Argentine played in his first match of the season and kept a clean sheet.
His first big save came from close range, a header from Beto and a big hand from Emiliano Martínez kept the ball out. His second big save came against Jack Grealish as a kick save from Emiliano Martínez kept Grealish’s effort from inside the penalty area out.
Arguably the best for last, a cross inside the penalty area by Grealish found the head of Michael Keane and his header from close range was saved by Emiliano Martínez who showed great reflexes.
Three big saves by Emiliano Martínez helped Aston Villa grab one point as they are yet to score ien the Premier League this season.
