Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has stated that he will call up a replacement but that he was waiting for Argentina’s match against Iceland. According to Maximiliano Grillo, Agustín Giay, Nicolás Capaldo, Emiliano Buendía, Máximo Perrone and Guido Rodríguez are being considered by Scaloni.
Agustín Giay and Nicolás Capaldo are presently with the Argentina national team and played in the team’s 2-0 win against Honduras. Emiliano Buendía, Máximo Perrone and Guido Rodríguez are not with the team.
I really hope Guido Rodríguez doesn’t come back to the team! I watched the Argentina vs. Mexico match from the 2022 World Cup just a few days ago, and that was Guido’s only appearance for Argentina in the tournament. He was an absolute disaster! He couldn’t even complete a simple 5-meter pass!
