Julián Álvarez spoke about Argentina’s 3-1 win against Switzerland at the World Cup.
Álvarez scored for Argentina in their 3-1 win against Switzerland. Speaking to the media after the match, here is what he had to say:
“Very happy. We tried until the end.
“We knew that if we kept going all together, it would come through for us.
“We have to focus the energy on our things, on our work. The group is very united.
“All the World Cup matches are like this. Two more to go and we are going for it all.”

We will show our best in semis and finals.
The two biggest positives from this match? Both our strikers found the net despite Messi having one of his quieter games, and, most importantly, we’re through to the semifinals.
But beyond that, there are reasons to worry.
England, with Bellingham, Kane and the rest, are playing a far more controlled and cohesive brand of football. They combine technical quality with physicality, and that’s precisely the kind of opponent we’ve struggled against.
After the way Switzerland bullied us physically and dragged us through 120 exhausting minutes, the semifinal looks like an even tougher challenge. If we don’t regain control in midfield and become far more compact defensively, England will punish us much more ruthlessly than Switzerland did.
