Personally, if Scaloni doesn’t stay, I’d rather see someone from the current coaching staff step up, like Aimar, Ayala, or Samuel. They already know the group and the culture that made this team so successful. My only concern is whether they have the tactical ability to lead the team as the main coach.

It was the AFA job to send a memorandum to FIFA regarding the nationality of the referee and on the basis of fair play, but they kept silence like they didn’t care. Other national team would question the selection of the referee and VAR referee both from Europe. We lack a true leadership in this regard. It is also the manager’s job to nudge the AFA for such matters. We need a new coach for God’s sake.

It’s always hurts regardless whatever the outcome is if that wasn’t a win,however my salute to this group and coaching team. It was like a dream last 8 years or so,if someone says otherwise he/she is a haters or a school kids who doesn’t understand football. If anyone would have told me that we will win 2 Copa,1 World Cup then again Runners Up after 2018 shambles i would have laughed at their face but here we are . Many of our players were not 100%.

None of them would be an inspiring coach. Their character, attitude, arrogance, and the face of “I don’t care” all red flags. None of them would create a united team. Scaloni was good at that part, but tactically weak, too emotional, and treat players like close family members which is also a red flag for a man whose supposed to take sharp business decisions every now and then.

People from AFA can answer this question. They are hired based on their qualification to assess NT management and evaluate every potential manager out there, they get paid to do this job. I’m just a fan reflecting on what’s has been demonstrated by the current coach, and I can sense that he’s good but tactically weak and can be outclassed by average coaches.
