Sergio Agüero scored for Independiente’s senior team in their 3-3 draw against Racing.
Agüero was back scoring for his boyhood club Independiente. Taking part in their senior team, the Argentine dribbled inside the penalty area and would curl one into the far corner to draw Independiente level at 1-1 in the clasico.
The 36 year old was forced to retire in 2021 due to a cardiac arrhythmia.

Hugo Lloris spoke about Kylian Mbappé being similar to Lionel Messi and if he thinks the Argentine will be at the 2026 World Cup.
Lloris won the 2018 World Cup with France and made the final in 2022, losing to the Argentina national team. Speaking in an interview with LaNacion, here is what he haf to say about Messi:
“If Mbappé is similar to Messi? No, Messi is unique. It is absolutely impossible to compare him to anyone.
“I don’t see Argentina without Messi in the next World Cup. I think it will be with Messi. He still plays and enjoys football. It’s his decision, but of course we want to continue to see him play.
“I have a lot of admiration for Leo. For me he is at the top of the list of the best players, without a doubt. I’m from the generation that was able to watch and play against Leo.”
Lionel Messi scored just two minutes after being substituted on for Inter Miami in their 2-1 win against Philadelphia.
Messi made it two goals and two assists in three matches for Inter Miami. The 37 year old started the match on the bench and with Inter Miami leading 1-0, he was substituted into the match.
Two minutes after being substituted in, the Argentine would receive the ball inside the penalty area and he would score to give Inter Miami the 2-0 lead.
Ángel Di María scored for Benfica in their 3-0 win vs. Gil Vicente.
Di María made it 15 goals for the season, scoring for Benfica in their win. With Benfica leading 2-0, Benfica were awarded a penalty and it was Di María who took it.
The Argentine would score to give Benfica the 3-0 lead. He now has eight goals in the league.
“If we win two (World Cups) in a row, that’s it, I’m retiring from the national team. We have to make room for other young players.”
He also commented on the possible feelings of being a two time World Cup winner:
“Something like this is not going to happen again. We all saw Argentina winning the World Cup. I had not seen it since I was born. A 7-year-old kid already knows what he experienced. You are going to be happy and celebrate, but not like the previous one.”
The World Cup winner also revealed what he did before the 2022 World Cup final:
“I played Call of Duty with my friends before the World Cup final against France, from the time I had a snack until the technical talk.”
