Nahuela Molina is out for Argentina and Giuliano Simeone has been called up.

Molina has discomfort in the back of his right thigh and will not be with the Argentina national team for their World Cup qualifying match against Peru on Tuesday. The official Argentina account has announced on their social media that Giuliano Simeone has been called up.

During Argentina’s 2-1 loss against Paraguay, Molina was substituted out for Gonzalo Montiel.

Julio Soler could be called up to the Argentina national team.

Soler might be included in the team for their match against Peru on Tuesday. According to Fernando Czyz, if Cristian Romero and Nicolás Tagliafico are dropped from the Argentina national team due to fitness issues, Soler could be called up.

The 19 year old left back has not played for Argentina in the first team level.

Cristian Romero and Nicolás Tagliafico will both undergo tests and are doubts for Argentina.

Romero and Tagliafico both finished Argentina’s match against Paraguay with issues and are doubts for Tuesday’s match. According to Gastón Edul, Romero played with pain in his right foot and is a doubt for Argentina’s match against Peru.

Nicolás Tagliafico has also been suffering from shoulder pain for over a month and will undergo tests. He is also a doubt.

Adidas and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) have unveiled a retro jersey inspired by the design worn during the 1974 FIFA World Cup.

The jersey retains the traditional sky-blue and white stripes and includes updates such as a laurel wreath around the crest and three stars above it, representing Argentina’s World Cup wins in 1978, 1986, and 2022.

The Albiceleste will wear this jersey for the first and only time in their upcoming match against Peru on Tuesday, November 19, at La Bombonera.

Adidas released a promotional video for the jersey featuring players from the national team and kit manager Mario “Marito” De Stéfano. Each participant delivers a few lines as part of the campaign.

The video also references Alejandro Garnacho, acknowledges the support of Argentine fans in Bangladesh, and includes a reference to former Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal, recalling the rivalry during the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals.
