River Plate are interested in signing Lucas Martínez Quarta of Fiorentina.

Lucas Martínez Quarta could be returning to River Plate. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, River Plate are interested in signing the 28 year old and want to bring him back.

Marcelo Gallardo’s team have submitted an initial offer and negotiations are under way. The Argentine joined Fiorentina from River Plate back in 2020, playing over 140 matches for the Italian club.

São Paulo and Monterrey send offers for Gonzalo Montiel of Sevilla

São Paulo and Monterrey have both sent offers for Gonzalo Montiel of Sevilla.

The Brazilian club are interested in bringing in Gonzalo Montiel. According to Gabriel Sá of Arquibancada Tricolor, São Paulo have sent in an offer for a loan deal with an option to buy for Sevilla but the Spanish club prefer a sale.

Monterrey coach Martín Demichelis is also looking to sign Montiel. According to Raisa Simplicio, Monterrey from Mexico have sent in a purchase deal to Sevilla to sign the Argentine.

Gonzalo Montiel has only played in six league matches this season.

Nicolás González scored for Juventus in their 2-1 win vs. Monza.

González got his first goal on the league for Juventus in their win as he returned from injury. With the score at 1-1, the ball fell to the Argentine inside the penalty area and he scored from close range to give Juventus the 2-1 lead.

The 26 year old scored in his first match back against Cagliari.

Paulo Dybala has joined Gabriel Batistuta and Hernán Crespo on the list of all time Argentine goal scorers in Serie A.

Dybala has overtaken Gonzalo Higuaín on Serie A goals to move in to third all time in the league for an Argentine players, scoring 127 goals. Dybala scored 16 goals for Palermo, 82 for Juventus and 29 for AS Roma.

He is on 127 goals, behind Hernán Crespo who is on 153 goals and behind Gabriel Batistuta who scored 183 goals. Gabriel Batistuta scored 151 goals for Fiorentina and is their all time leading goal scorer and also scored 30 goals for AS Roma ad had two goals for Inter.

Hernán Crespo scored 72 goals for Parma, 39 for Lazio, 27 for Inter, 10 for Milan and five for Genoa.
