Nicolás Otamendi scored for Benfica in their 6-1 win vs. Vizela.

Otamendi scored a goal similar to the one he scored for Argentina against Brazil in November’s World Cup qualifier. Benfica were awarded a corner kick and the cross inside the penalty area fell to Otamendi and the Argentine would head the ball and score to give Benfica the 2-0 lead.

The 36 year old has now scored three goals this season, two in the league and one in the Allianz Cup.

Facundo Buonanotte scored for Brighton in their 5-0 win vs. Sheffield United.

Buonanotte made it two league goals in three league matches, scoring Brighton’s first goal of the match. With the score at 0-0, it was a cross into the penalty area and the first header by Dunk finds Buonanotte who heads it towards goal and gives Brighton the 1-0 lead.

The 19 year old played 66 minutes and Valentín Barco, who recently joined the club, did not make the team.

Lucas Beltrán scored for Fiorentina in their 1-1 draw vs. Empoli on matchday 25 of Serie A.

The Argentine striker played behind the center forward Andrea Belotti and had a solid game. In the 29th minute, Beltrán received the ball in the right side of the box, turned, and struck it low across to the goalkeeper’s right post to convert and give Fiorentina the 1-0 lead. He reached his 6th goal in Serie A this season.

Lucas Martínez Quarta and Nicolás González also played the whole match for Fiorentina.

Ángel Correa scored twice and assisted for Atlético Madrid in their 5-0 win vs. Las Palmas on matchday 25 of La Liga. The 28-year-old was the man of the match and received a 9.5 Sofascore rating.

In the 20th minute, Correa intensely pressed a Las Palmas defender and stole the ball. On a 2 vs. 1 occasion, he passed it to Marcos Llorente, who scored the 2-0 without any pressure.

Just minutes into the second half, the Argentine received a headed pass near the penalty spot. Without letting the ball bounce, he volleyed it to the back of the net and converted the 3-0.

Ten minutes later, Atlético Madrid was awarded a penalty and Correa grabbed the ball to execute it. He kicked to the left and, even though the goalkeeper dived to that side, Ángel managed to make it 4-0 for Atletico.

Nahuel Molina started the match and Rodrigo De Paul entered the pitch in the 62nd minute for Atlético Madrid, while Máximo Perrone played the first 57 minutes for Las Palmas.

Alexis Mac Allister scored for Liverpool in their 4-1 win vs. Brentford.

Mac Allister had a solid match for Liverpool. Playing 83 minutes, the 25 year old was one of the best players on the pitch.

With Liverpool leading 1-0, the Argentine received the ball inside the penalty area, skipped passed his marker and toe poked it for his second goal in the Premier League.
