Nicolás Tagliafico and Nicolás González are both one yellow card away from suspension.
Tagliafico and Gonzalez are the two Argentine players presently on a yellow card. Argentina will be playing two more matches at the Copa America and a yellow against Canada for either of them will mean that they would miss either the Copa America final or the third place match.
Both players got yellow carded against Ecuador in the quarter final match.
Ángel Di María, Julián Álvarez and Lionel Messi will start for Argentina vs. Canada at the Copa America.
Di María and Julián Álvarez will be back in the Argentina starting eleven against Canada. According to Gastón Edul, Di María and Álvarez will start on Tuesday.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni confirmed on Monday at a press conference that Lionel Messi will also start.
Argentina will play with their home kit against Canada in the semi finals of the Copa America.
The Argentina national team will play in their sky blue and white shirt with white shorts and white socks. This would be the same kit they were in their group stage match against Canada.

Lionel Scaloni has confirmed that Messi will start for Argentina vs. Canada in the semi finals of the 2024 Copa America. Scaloni spoke at a press conference on Monday. Here is what he had to say:
“Messi is fine, he ended the game without any discomfort. He will start tomorrow. It’s a possibility that Messi and Di María play together.”
Scaloni also spoke about European countries at a Copa America:
“I would like for a European nation to be invited to a Copa America sometime so they can see what it’s like to play here, and also the other way around with the Euro’s.”
Piero Meza of Chile will referee Argentina vs. Canada in the semi final’s of the Copa America.
It was announced that Meza will be the referee for Tuesday’s match. The last two times Meza was the referee for an Argentina match were Argentina’s 1-0 win vs. Brazil last year in the South American World Cup qualifiers and Argentina’s 3-0 win vs. Italy in the Finalissima.
