Lo Celso did not start the match for Tottenham but did get a goal as he continues his great form in pre-season. The Argentine was brought on as a substitute at half time and scored his second goal of pre-season from close range.

Cristian Romero did start for Tottenham but was substituted out at half time as part of the several changes done by the coach.

Messi scored two goals for Inter Miami as he stole the show in their 4-0 win. The first goal of the match came through a Sergio Busquet assist. The Spaniard played a pass into the Argentine as Messi controlled it and while his initial effort hit the post, Messi got to the rebound and scored.

The Best player in the world would double Inter Miami’s lead. A pass into the penalty area found Messi and he was unmarked, scoring from close range.

Messi played his first match with his new club on Friday, scoring the free kick match winner against Cruz Azul in a 2-1 win.

Mundo Albiceleste was at Gerardo Martino’s press conference prior to Inter Miami’s game vs. Atlanta United on Tuesday. “El Tata” could not confirm that Lionel Messi will play from the beginning, but he stated that the idea was to give him more playing time that in his debut last Friday.

“It is very likely that both Messi and Busquets will play longer, even from the beginning. Everything will depend on how they feel. It is just their second game.

“It is also true that when Leo plays from the beginning, he is likely to play the full 90 minutes.

Luka Romero scored his debut goal for AC Milan in their 3-2 loss vs. Real Madrid.

Romero got his first goal and in what appears to be typical Luka Romero fashion, it was an incredible strike. With AC Milan leading 1-0, the ball fell to the 18 year old and with almost instant control, the Argentine curled the ball into the top corner to double AC Milan’s lead.

Nico Paz was also brought on as a substitute for Real Madrid in the second half.
