Conmebol and UEFA are working on organizing friendly matches for March 2024.
The Argentina national team have four more South American World Cup qualifying matches to be played this year but they could be playing a European team next year. According to Gastón Edul, Conmebol and UEFA are working on organizing friendly matches between South American and European teams for March 2024.
For Argentina, it would help them prepare for the 2024 Copa America, there would also be games played in 2026.
Paulo Dybala scored twice for AS Roma in their 7-0 win vs. Empoli.
Dybala scored his first two goals of the season for AS Roma after being missing their last league match. AS Roma were awarded a penalty kick and it was Dybala who took it and scored to give them the 1-0 lead.
The Argentine would score a second goal as he dribbled into the penalty area, dribbled the defender and scored.
Lucas Martínez Quarta scored his first goal of the season for Fiorentina.
Martínez Quarta started has only played in two matches this season for Fiorentina but has his first goal of the season in Fiorentina’s 3-2 win vs. Atalanta. With the score at 1-1, it was a cross into the penalty area and the Argentine would head the ball to give Fiorentina the 3-2 lead.
The 27 year old and Nicolás González both started the match for Fiorentina while Lucas Beltrán was brought on as a substitute.
Ángel Di María scored a free kick goal for Benfica in their 2-1 win vs. Vizela.
Di María continues to do well, this time with a free kick goal for Benfica. With Benfica leading 1-0, they were awarded a free kick and it was the Argentine who would take it and score.
The World Cup winner has four goals and two assists in five league matches for Benfica.

Mauro Icardi scored for Galatasaray in their 4-2 win vs. Samsunspor.
Icardi has now scored five goals in four league matches this season for Galatasaray. With Galatasaray leading 3-2, it was an effort on goal which was deflected by Icardi to make it 4-2 for the reigning league champions.
The Argentine has eight goals this season, with three of them in the Champions League.
