Julio Soler, Aaron Anselmino and Alejo Sarco called up to Argentina U20 national team

Julio Soler, Aaron Anselmino, Alejo Sarco and Gianluca Prestianni have been called up to Argentina U20 national team.

Coach Diego Placente has called up 27 players for the two friendly matches on June 6 and June 9 against Australia. Claudio Echeverri is not part of the list and there are four players from Europe and one from Uruguay that have been called up. Here are the names:

The draw for the 2025 U20 World Cup takes place on Thursday with Argentine in Pot two for the draw.

Argentina are one of five South American teams that are in the U20 World Cup. With Chile as hosts, Brazil and Colombia are in Pot 1 with Argentina in Pot two. Here are the pots for the draw which will take place in Santiago on Thursday:

Lionel Messi has reached 863 career goals and has made Inter Miami history.

Messi continues to break records. After scoring two goals for Inter Miami in their 4-2 win against Montreal, the Argentine has now scored 863 career goals.

He is also the first Inter Miami player in history to have 50 goal contributions in regular season. He has 29 goals and 21 assists in the league.

Lionel Messi had two goals and one assist for Inter Miami in their 4-2 win against Montreal.

Messi made it eight goals and three assists in 12 matches for Inter Miami this season. With the score at 0-0, Messi would cut inside from outside of the penalty area and score from distance to give Inter Miami the 1-0 lead.

At 1-0, he would dribble inside the penalty area and play a cross to Luis Suárez who would score. Messi would get his second goal.

With Inter Miami leading 2-1, the Argentine would receive the ball inside the penalty area and he would chip the ball over the goalkeeper and score.

Enzo Fernández scores and wins the Conference League with Chelsea

Enzo Fernández scored for Chelsea in their 4-1 win over Real Betis in the Conference League final.

With the Spanish side leading 1-0 and the English team desperate to equalize, the Argentine midfielder found the back of the net in the 65th minute, heading in a cross from Cole Palmer inside the box—sending the Chelsea fans into celebration.

After that crucial goal from the former River Plate player, Chelsea took control and overpowered Betis in the closing minutes, scoring three more goals to claim the first Conference League title in the club’s history.
