Martínez made it eight goals in Serie A this season, scoring in their win. With the score at 0-0, the Argentine received the ball outside of the penalty area and his effort from long range beat the goalkeeper to give Inter the 1-0 lead.

Lionel Messi and Tomás Avilés both scored for Inter Miami in their penalty shootout friendly match win against Club America.
Messi scored his first goal of 2025 in Inter Miami’s first friendly match of the new year. With Club America leading 1-0, it was a cross in the penalty area which fell to Messi and he would head the ball and score to draw Inter Miami level.
Tomás Avilés would be the late hero for Inter Miami. Club America would once more take the lead and Inter Miami would be awarded a corner kick in injury time.
The ball would fall to Avilés and he would head the ball and score Inter Miami’s second goal of the match. The match would go to penalty kicks where Federico Redondo and Marcelo Weigandt would miss but Inter Miami would get the 3-2 win.

Santiago Castro scored for Bologna in their 3-1 win vs. Monza.
Castro reached six Serie A goals with Bologna in their win. With Monza leading 1-0, it was a cross into the penalty area which found the Argentine who headed the ball and scored to draw Bologna level.
At 1-1, Benjamín Domínguez had an assist on the second goal. A pass to Jens Odgaard and he scored to give Bologna the 2-1 lead.
Luka Romero has signed with Cruz Azul.
Romero has joined Mexican club Cruz Azul from AC Milan. According to César Luis Merlo, he joins for €3.5 million on a five year contract.
The 20 year old now joins his sixth club, after having playing with Mallorca, Lazio, AC Milan, Almería and Alavés.
