Argentina’s starting eleven has been announced.
Julio OLARTICOECHEA will have his first match in charge of the Olympic team against Colombia. And here’s the starting line-up:

Olarticoechea is at least tweaking the formation, I like how he went 4-4-2ish after Simeone came on
Calleri was terrible, considering the fact that we did not have a lot of time to prepare and we spent a lot of time training with 11 players i can only congratulate the boys for the game today we can see that Olarticoechea knows what he is doing.
Not bad. Most of them played his first NT game and first time together.

Ascacibar Correa Martinez Gianettti Gomez Soto and Cuesta looks like they are comfortable they playing through ease but Lo Celso looks like he is having a tough time, sometimes he hesitates in making his decision.
I agree but I guess Lo Celso is still very young, just turned 20 in April so I’m willing to cut him some slack.
Correa is impressive but sometimes dribbles too much
Not too bad I guess. The build-up is decent but no finishing product yet, Calleri seems isolated at times. A couple of defensive lapses as well, but Rulli was good. A bit of tiki-taka at times too with short passing in midfield 🙂
And Gomez, yes finally a truly offensive full-back.
The defensive lapses looks like tactical mistake with looking for offside.

Soto was good too despite the yellow
Defense and Midfield seems good. The attack needs some working.
Calleri isn’t good as far
Correa too. He dribbled too much and almost always ignored gomez’s run. I guess after 2 weeks of training together these things will not happen
All the players you mentioned were good. Especially Gomez and Martinez. Gomez plays his typical phenomenal offwnsive football.
It reminds me of typical Argentina defense. I haven’t seem for awhile. 😀

I like Gomez and Rulli. Rulli’s distribution is very good, no wonder Pep wanted him.
I like soto and Mauricio Martinez so far
