Argentina Olympic team lands in Rio

Julio OLARTICOECHEA and his team have landed in Rio ahead of the opening match against Portugal.

The other news of the day is that Cristian PAVON, Manuel LANZINI’s replacement, joined the team for the first time. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m grateful for being here. It’s a big dream.”

The team took part in physical work as well as technical work. The goalkeepers, Geronimo RULLI and Axel WERNER did specific work. The team will take part in their first real training session (where OLARTICOECHEA would play an eleven) on Monday.
