There’s already some rumors as to who Edgardo BAUZA will call-up as replacements to the two injured players.
With Lucas BIGLIA and Augusto FERNANDEZ both picking up injuries on Sunday, there are rumors that two players from the Argentine Primera will be called-up as replacements. Santiago ASCACIBAR and Ivan MARCONE are the two names being rumored to be called-up as replacements.

A lot of Pratto’s hardwork.
He needed to be a bit faster than what he is.
It’s hard for player of such phisical construction.
Having Pratto in the team is a joke. We criticized previous coaches for including Tevez in attack when he’s in his prime and was considered an odd choice….so now we have an out of form, slow and sloppy attacker to be officially in the team and since Aguero has a chronic never ending injuries and Messi is getting injured every now and then…..that means Pratto is logically a starter for Argentina…..hehe
BOTH LUCAS boye and Simeoni Played well last night,Especially Lucas boye.
I following still Lucas Boye. Watched the Torino game. Boye is very interesting No.9. He is quite anthithesis of Icardi. It’s rare thing to see tall player striker with so good dribling. By the driblings he can makes occasion for himself but then… As far (not in Torino yet but in Newell’s and RIver) he is very poor finisher unlike Icardi. In Torino he plays as winger because of Belotti No.9 privilege. Dribling and fantastic phisical strength makes him player really worth watching.
BTW
Augusto Solari. Another interesting Estudiantes player. Former RIver. Was great yesterday. Reminds me young Lucho Gonzalez.
Ascacibar is future project, very raw diamond and it’s good idea to pick up but Marcone for me is not one of two best DM in league. Noteworthy although. I would pick Nacho Fernandez instead.
Other news!
Argentina has advanced to the semifinals of the 2016 Futsal World Cup ! They will play Portugal Wednesday and the best current player in the world, Ricardinho. Russia and Iran play in the other semi as favorites Brazil and Spain have both been eliminated!
Now, who is favourite, Portugal or Argentina? I saw the match of Iran vs Brazil. Falcao’s last match, who scored hat trick but lost! I think, Iran is also a big contender this time!
Argentina are the favorites being the conmenbol champions!” Russia finished second in the Euros this year, losing to Spain and Portugal lost to Spain as well in the Euros this year. Iran is an asian powerhouse in Futsal so it will be a close one to the finish! Vamos Argentina
Mascherano is even benched in Barca a few times lately, and I’m not sure he will play enough games this season after his shambolic defending quality. He’s getting old to keep up with young fast strikers. It’s time to find a good replacement for Mascherano before everything else.
I said this few days ago.when healthy the new french defender will start ahead of masche.
These two(Marcone and Ascacibar) are the best defensive midfielders in the domestic league. Then theres Leandro Paredes and Guido Pizarro to be considered.I think Biglia and Augusto should both be retired and also Mascherano. I think we need a younger engine room to win the world cup.At 34 I can’t see Mascherano being part of that.
By the way, both A.Correa and Gaitan played 90 min for Atleti today and both did reasonably well. Gaitan played on the right, so Bauza should consider him as an option to replace Messi.
I would be pleasantly surprised or even mildly shocked if either one of those two, let alone both get selected instead of Augusto and Biglia. Kranevitter, Paredes, Pizarro and Pereyra might be considered too. Let’s see if Bauza is bold enough to include a 19 year old Ascacibar.
Despite so young age Ascacibar is already better than Kranevitter so why not…
yes exactly why not and ive always said it makes perfect sense to have one or 2 up and coming players the squad as it allows them to get the feel of what it is like, it should inspire them being part of the team and will let them see what they could be if they keep up their good work unlike the hollow words of “ive 60 players on my list” and that is hardly inspiring at all to any player.
That is right. Besides, Ascacibar is best player to pressing football. Thanks to his stamina he runs, runs, runs and I think to have such player is tempts for every coach. He may run out game like no one other. Massive potential but needs a guidance from his early years to develope into someone more even than Mascherano.
