The injury list is underway for Argentina.
In what seems to be a recurring theme every month, a player has picked up an injury. This time it’s Atletico Madrid’s Nicolas GAITAN who had to be substituted off after 30 minutes due to a buttock’s injury. Further tests will be done to see the extent of his injury.

Nico gaitan has been one of the best Mid fielders since 2010. Had he been in the team in any of the three finals we lost, the result could have been different! It has to be seen whether he can come back if he is out of the team for a while. He and enzo perez are clearly not the favorites of our coaches. Now some fans may doubt whether perez and gaitan are too aged for 2018 wc (if argentina qualifies!). I would say we should go for a combination of youngsters and experienced players who are trustworthy but not properly managed by our coaches. Our mid field should have:
Enzo peres-Banega-Gaitan
And
Paredes-Ascacibar-Lanzini
