Eduardo SALVIO out of Argentina team, Emiliano RIGONI in

Eduardo SALVIO has been discarded from the Argentina team due to injury.

A first blow has been dealt to Jorge SAMPAOLI as he will be without Benfica man Eduardo SALVIO for Argentina’s upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches. Argentina’s official Twitter account send out a tweet saying a replacement has already been named with Zenit’s latest signing Emiliano RIGONI being called-up.

Uruguay were dealt a blow last week after talisman Luis SUAREZ sustained an injury and will be out for them. Argentina will play away to in Montevideo on August 31 before hosting Venezuela on September 5.   1. 21 years old Thomas Rodriguez, which is one of our new players in Europe (from Banfield to Genoa), is IMO pure talent. He is Argentine/Chilean nationality and Chile coach, Pizzi, has already initiated contacts with him to call up sooner or later. I think Argentina should not to cede him for Chileans and he is worth to fight for if hesitant.
