Argentina’s preparation for the World Cup includes travelling to three cities as Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Moscow are in the itinerary.

Buenos Aires in Argentina, Catalonia in Spain and Moscow in Russia are all in the books for Jorge SAMPAOLI’s men. According to journalist Vero BRUNATI, the Argentina National Team will play a friendly match (the farewell game) to the World Cup in La Bombonera before flying out and training for six days in Spain (at FC Barcelona’s Ciudad Deportiva) prior to finally flying out to Moscow to settle in for the World Cup.

AFA president Chiqui TAPIA has reportedly signed off on the preparation as well.

  1. Watched City’s match last night, great performance for Aguero and Otamendi, both of them have progressed a lot with Guardiola. I find quite amazing how Otamendi is good with the ball now.

    • Yes augero’s overall play has been better under Pep. Not just static and waiting for others to make things happen for tap ins but still his finishing was not up to par. Pep is playing him in false nine, Jesus played better than him in short period of time. I guess Pep will never get another Messi who perfected the art of false 9 which Pep would only dreams with other players.

      • So bad that City has already bunch of great players in each position. Cannot hire any new Argentine player. Will be great to have this kind of coach for the football.

  2. But serie A is very average league.Premier league is the most competitive and can unleash his hidden talent.Pastore is genius with his passing I wish his Chelsea move.

  3. Boca Juniors lost second game in a row. Rosario Central have recipe for the team.

While River against Newell’s 1:3. They lost 5 of last 7 games. Only Pity Martinez keeps highest level. On Newell’s side Joaquin Torres to watch.

2 clubs from Snata Fe (Union and Colon) doing surprisngly well in this season. 2 clubs from Cordoba (Talleres and Belgrano) also high.

    • Without Benedetto it will be a different story, plus Walter Bou is injured too. Boca played without real striker. If i know right Ramon Abila comes in January, they definitely wanted to sell Benedetto in the winter transfer window, and Ramon would be his heir. But Abila has injured too in Huracan, how serious?

      • Abila is out for few weeks. The new situation Boca have adapt to is actually interesting for me. I would like to see more competitive rivalry after title. Perhaps now that’s going to happen.

Another thing is that currently Boca has probably one of the weakest base of promising youngsters among classic Top 10 Argentina clubs (Boca, River, Inde, Velez, Racing, Estudiantes, Newell’s, Argentinos, Lanus, San Lorenzo).

  4. Pastore is going to leave PSG so that he can get some real time to play on the pitch. He is gearing up to secure a place in national team.He is an elegant genius. He should go to premier league.Chelsea would be great for him.Argentina needs him in midfield.

    • He is moving to Inter and there already is a contact between his agent and Inter Milan officials. He prefers Italy as he said in one of his recent interviews, so it is very likely to see him in Italy this January once again.

    • Unfortunately for Javier, he is in competition with Draxler, who is on fire after having been converted into midfielder recently. Very hard to choose as both of them are really great player. Javier has his magical touch and the German is more consistent. I guess Emery prefer the German because he thinks it’s a better fit to the existing pair Rabiot-Verratti.

So it’s simple, if he wants the world cup participation, he need to move. And he need to find a club that fits his style. Chelsea will be a great move for him because of this 3-4-1-2 system, he will play behind the pair Hazard-Morata and will be supported by powerful players like Kante, Bakayoko and David Luiz. Will be a true playmaker position like Zidane with Juve and Riquelme with Villareal. Besides, having Conte as coach is much more interesting than working with Emery. If he do well, it will definitely offer an extra option to Sampaoli.
