Gonzalo HIGUAIN netted for Juventus while Lionel MESSI, Angel DI MARIA and Emiliano SALA all scored as well.
The race at the top of the Serie A standings is getting tighter and tighter. HIGUAIN reached double digits as he scored his 10th Serie A goal in 21 matches. A close ranger header added to the old lady’s lead as they picked up a 2-0 win against Chievo.
Lionel MESSI continues to score when he feels like it. Barcelona fell behind to a Deportivo Alaves goal in the first half and their undefeated La Liga streak looked to have been coming to an end. Luis SUAREZ equalised in the second half for the Catalan club and it took a Lionel MESSI free kick (his 36th of his career) to secure the 2-1 win.
Angel DI MARIA’s scoring form has carried over once more as he scored the third in PSG’s 4-0 win against Montpellier.
Still in France, Emiliano SALA scored goal number eight of the season for himself as Nantes picked up a 3-0 win against Guingamp.

Lanzini will be recovered in first week of march and friendlies are on last week of march what matters is announcement timing of Sampoli.
So Lanzini injured for 4-6 weeks. I think that ends his world cup hopes as I dont think he will be called up for the friendlies and if not, chances of him getting called up in wc squad is next to none.
So now it seems like its hoing to be Lo Celso as the midfield creator. I like Lo Celso, who is promising, passes well , defends well. He just need a little chemistry with the team thats all.
Also, Augusto going to China could also improve his chances of a call up. Banega doing really well, Pizzaro too, Acuna, Salvio having good seasons etc. so far if Sampaoli wants to, I believe he will be able to shake off the pale and predictable Biglia Perez midfield and make a Banega Pizzaro Lo Celso musfield, which looks extremely tasty on paper. And, since we have Tagliafico playing for Azax now, we shouldnât be having any dilema of playiing a back four no more. Since Acuna is known to be a backup LB for Sampaoli, it shouldnât be a discussion anymore.
Anyways, we need to have someone who could make operlapping runs down the left snd right wing, and I think Pavon and Di Maria are those guys. The only problem with these guys are they are kinda terrible finishers compared to elite levels. And you cant really play Pavon any position other than a winger, which is not ideal at this level if you cant finish at a decent click.
Thatâs why I think a 4-4-2 should be an attractive option for us as it allows our wingers with brilliant defensive acumen play as midfielders and as wingers at the same time. You can call it a 4-2-3-1 or whatever, but I think this should be the firmation we use to unleash the creativity of our attacking players.
