Ramiro FUNES MORI scored the opening goal for Argentina in their 2-0 win against Mexico.
Lionel SCALONI’s team got the win but it wasn’t easy. Goalkeeper Agustin MARCHESIN pulled off two great saves in the opening two minutes of the match. After that, despite a few defensive mistakes, the team kept possession of the ball and created several goal scoring chances.
The first goal of the match came through a Ramiro FUNES MORI header. A free kick sent in found the head of FUNES MORI as the Villarreal man scored right before half time to give Argentina the lead.

The second goal looked destined to be Mauro ICARDI’s first for his country but an own goal by BRIZUELA stole it from ICARDI. A low cross sent in by SARAVIA was going towards ICARDI but it got to BRIZUELA who tapped it in.
🤨 Wait… WHAT? Centro de Saravia, autogol de @brizuela27_cone 😓@Argentina 2-0 @miseleccionmx

Yeah if u count messi aguero di maria and all river Boca players….it’s just look like a B team….or may be little more than B team
With Argentina talent, this is a C team, still did well, though
Argentina fielded a B team as well..without Boca & River Players..
