Adolfo Gaich is set to join Benevento from CSKA Moscow.
Gaich will reportedly be leaving CSKA Moscow only months after joining them. Per a report AS, Gaich is set to fly out to Italy with his agent.
The Argentine is expected to sign for the next five months on loan and he could also spend next season on loan at the club where Benevento would be able to sign him for a fee in the region of €10-12 million.
Still only 21 years of age, should Gaich join Benevento,, he would be coached by World Cup winning striker Filippo Inzaghi.
Good luck… Atleast more game time is assured… And a better league than Russia
I really hope he takes advantage of this. It’s almost a miracle to see a club willing to buy him after his time in Russia, clearly Benevento have faith in him and know of his true talents, a sort of second chance some players don’t get. When looking at this, I remember recalling the fact that Gaich is one of three main talents in the striker position of his age, the other two being Lautaro and Bustos, which brings me to another point I want to address. I have kept up with Bustos casually in terms of looking at his SofaScore ratings and too see if he scores goals. Only now I just realized that on the surface of it he seems very average, not a single goal in the segunda division and only one assist from twelve. For a young striker on loan from Manchester city in a second division those numbers are painfully low. His SofaScore ratings to my memory are usually average, not bad but not special. His Copa del Rey stats are surprisingly much better, with 2 goals and 2 assists in 4. I have also heard very little talk of him on this forum since he moved to Girona, so if anyone had watched him, has more elaborate statistics, or has any sort of commentary on his time in Girona so far it would be appreciated. The reason I ask this is because I don’t want to call him a “bad player” for those surface level stats when maybe he has been doing great in other regards
Good for his career. He can explore his potential under Filippo Inzaghi. Wish Gaich all the success; good luck
New team and the Olympics to look forward to. He really needs to take this opportunity and RUN with it!
