  1. The truth is McAllister is underutilized in BHA already. I’ve seen many matches where he was overlooked for passing in buildup play and goal didn’t materialize. I think MacAllister is low on confidence … Nico arrival should pep him up and I hope we see some good come out of two argentines connecting in attacking play.
Playing attacking football against some of the top teams in EPL for an entire season is a good way to prep for the WC.

  2. Teams this talent could have been in that is much better:
Roma; Napoli, Lazio(or any top 6 Italian teams)
Sevilla; Real Betis (or any Spanish team 3-5)
    Tottenham
    Everton
    West Ham
    Leeds
    Arsenal
    Even Porto for goodness sake!

All these teams before moving to top club. Now he has to have a series of goal-scoring for Argentina in order to get/remain noticed.

  3. Great move…in to the best league currently. Getting regular playing time against top teams, top managers.. at high tempo.

Haters…did you forget…at the same age, Tevez and Mascherano joined Westham from Corinthians. Soon to big clubs ..same will happen to Gonzalez. I am hopeful of that.

  4. I think that is a bad move. He deserves much better than this come on! I don’t know how much imbecile the agents of Argentine players could be or how much our talents could be boycotted in Europe, any sane individual regardless being an Argentina fan or not who can watch and understand football knows that he is massively underrated!

Sevilla could be a good move, alongside Ocampos, or even Betis, Napoli, Inter, Milan and if we could talk about Premier league i could say Arsenal or even Leicester.

Gurusevilla, i thought that Ocampos was one of the fans’ favourites, no? Wouldn’t you like having both Ocampos and Gonzalez?

  5. Weird and sudden transfer. But I don’t think Brighton is as bad a move as people are making out. Expected points (which I think takes into account XG) has them 5TH on the table. The reason they end up being so low is they have bad finishers. They play good football. If his finishing improves to how it was at stuttgart they make end up higher on the table. I highly doubt they will be relegated. Even though they ended up above Brighton in the table Crystal Palace and Newcastle are more relegation threatened than them. The only problem I have is a club with bigger pedigree and more guaranteed European football would have been better. Also because of his recent injury issues the EPL is a risky move. At least he will play with Mac Allister which is good

  6. One of the worst transfer you will ever come across a argentine regular playing for brighton what the hell?? Yes he will be playing in premier League but playing for brighton will most probably degrade his standard he cant grow there can he??

    • We dont know if there was going to be Totts offer. Likely there wasnt going to be one or else he wouldnt have pulled the trigger on Brighton. This is a step up for him. He’s only 23 with bigger things to come.

Remember, he was injured half the season this past one.

  7. IDK if he is EPL material or not. A lot of our players had gone to EPL and lost touch. Also I thought he was big club material. Looks like the likes of Sevilla, Lazio and Napoli would be best for him.

  8. I don’t like this. He is much better than Brighton. This is where the agents fail. There is no way he should accept Brighton. He should be in Sevilla or Spurs or Lazio type at least. Play in a Europa league at least. And 23 is not young. Its almost prime. 18-20 is young.

    • English clubs has the money brighton can match in transfer with likes inter ,ac Milan Rome and seville .
Those clubs I mentioned can’t afford offer this kind money for nico gonzalez plus brighton willing to buy three time his wages when his getting now
Premiere league It’s his own league when it comes to money 💰

  9. It’s a lateral movement…. That explains why our NT is struggling. The players are not that good. I used to believe that he has the potential to play in very good clubs like Sevilla, Tottenham, west ham, Napoli second tier teams before making it to the elite clubs in Europe…. If it is the case we have to be very careful when it comes to expectation….. Let’s be wise!!!!!!

  10. Brighton has some South American connect. Macclister , Moses Caicedo .. But surprised Nico went here. He has potential for a much larger club. Atleast an Europa League level club.

      • I remember seeing a photo of him with alexis macclister in alexis’s house in brighton. This was in last year. Looks the deal was brewing much earlier 😊. Hope its a launch pad for a quick bigger move & he stays fit
