Lautaro Martinez commented on Argentina’s 1-0 win vs. Peru in the World Cup qualifiers.
Martinez scored the goal for Argentina which gave them the win and the three points. The team remains undefeated in their last 25 matches and end the month of October with seven points out of ten as they are well on their way to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Argentina’s goal scorer in the 1-0 win spoke to the media after the match. Here is what he had to say:
“The play against Uruguay was more fluid, there was more space. It got complicated for us a little but we always tried to have a solution and today, we knew how to find that.
“Everytime we go out on the pitch, we try to give our all because this shirt deserves respect and responsibility. All of this is exciting, my family saw me play again after a long time. Today, they’re here again. I hope that the people have enjoyed the win.”

When i saw some people’s comments i feel likes they should be the coach of Argentines national team coach. Listen to those who say Di Maria is headless chicken, scaloni dont when to sub bla bla… u guys r not real sùpporter or don’t understand anything. Just relax if u don’t like anything

Off topic : How’s Uruguay still stuck with Tabarez after 15 years? last time they passed QF in tournament was a decade ago.
Even Ecuador scored 4 goals passed them. Now they’ve conceided 7 in 2 matches.

We wasted quite a lot of chances today! Le Celso would have shot the chance in the box. Di Maria wasted a few easy chances today. He had an off game. Di Maria is best for the team attacking us not the other way round. But don’t worry too much. On a good day, Di Maria will score a goal among those chances. I don’t see Nico score goals, his passing is subpar too, but he has energy of a young Di Maria, likely a better player overall against a defense team.
Referee didn’t help us either. At the end, he gave Peru one min to play another corner but once we got a free kick, he stopped the game right away.
I didn’t see the game. I will have to see the highlights.
No one on here should ever criticize El Toro.

One problem with Scaloni is that he always brings substitution only after 70-75 minutes, which hardly brings any impact. Today ADM should have been substituted latest by 50-60 minutes.

That was a very, very soft penalty.
Just watched the video again and Yes, it looks like he was going down right before Dibu slipped but when you have that Brazilian joker calling the game……………………..

Peru even at 1 goal down put hardly any effort to attack and were still defending until very late in the match. The way their defenders were not giving our players any space it looked like they were defending a 1-0 lead. Regarding Dimaria’s early miss , he should have passed it to Messi instead of shooting ,Leo was totally free with no Peruvian players near him. Nevertheless, unlike last world cup qualifiers, we are almost through.
Whats important is that they dont sit back like a bunch of turtles after taking one goal lead
They will still sit back if its against brazil, germany, france etc.
