  1. Club this club that……………all our eyes should be on the prize……THE WORLD CUP, I just wish, hope and pray that all the players are fit healthy and ready to do their country proud and millions upon millions of ARGENTINA fans around the world.
We waited for 4 years and been heart broken for more than 8 & want that damn Monkey off our backs.

  2. Paredes to Juventus confirmed by many Argentine journalists. I hope he can cement his place as a starter quickly and if he does it will have been a very smart move before the world cup to get minutes. Our starting DM can not be a 15 minute cameo player. Plus he will continue playing with Di Maria which is good.

  3. Enzo Fernandez won’t get a better opportunity than the Champions league group stage to impress Scaloni!! Julian should also have picked a similar team but he instead went for a big name.

    • Julian Alvarez not went for a big club he went there because he got the opportunity to coached by one of the best coaches of all time pep Guardiola plus enzo if gets selected for the wc squad has much bigger chance to get a starting chance than Julian anyways because he is most probably lautaro replacement plus there is also Dybala where as our midfield is decent at best plus locelso has stamina issues and depaul is not getting minutes so is paredes.

      • “Lo Cels has stamina issues” Can you give specific examples when Lo Celso supposedly had stamina issues for Villareal and the NT in the last six months? Lo Celso is a pretty dynamic player for us. Not sure where you get that impression from. Seems to be a perfect example of someone so locked in their own erroneous narrative that you can’t help but make the same dubious statements over and over again.

          bingo

  4. Csabalala, yes benéfica can make it but it’s an uphill battle.

Similar for Bayern, Barca, and inter but I think inter can beat Barca while I’m not so confident benéfica can beat JUVE and PSG.

Funny ADM and Paredes will play against PSG

    • I’m thinking about it like this — the knockout stages will be after the WC so for us it is more convenient that the groups our players are in are very difficult even if it jeopardizes their qualification later. It helps for our players to be accustomed to this level so we can face other favorites in the WC and what happens after will become irrelevant for a while. It will be useful to evaluate Enzo in four high quality matches and same thing with Otamendi. I want to see where he’s at now and how he can hold up against this level. It will also be a great test for Lautaro to play against Bayern and Barca. An easier group would have been more convenient for Julian but Man City may be the first to be qualified and see themselves up by multiple goals in some occasions so I’m not too worried about him coming off the bench or getting an occasional start. That group is also a good test for out Sevilla players. I’m also really curious to see Palacios against Porto and Atletico and if he does well in his first champions league year it would be a good sign and a case for his inclusion (although I don’t think he’s at risk for missing out on the WC). It’s also very convenient and under appreciated that Molina is going from Udinese to the champions league this year. Perfect timing there.
