Nicolás González has been named the January Player of the Month for Fiorentina.
González had two goals in four matches in January, despite not playing 90 minutes in any of the games. Fiorentina as a club scored three goals in Serie A in January and the Argentine scored two of them.

IMO, Leicester city would have been a fair move for Nico. Fiorentina aren’t doing any better than Leicester at the moment. I mean even if it was a January transfer window, what are they hoping to achieve for the rest of the season by not selling him. I Don’t think they will get a bid like this for Nico by the end of season. In terms of his own career progression, it would have been a good move as in a year or two, he could always move to a bigger club within EPL. Would like to hear what the others think about this.
