Lisandro Martínez and Alejandro Garnacho won the Carabao Cup with Manchester United in a 2-0 win vs. Newcastle United.
Martínez started the match for United and was one of their best players as he lifted his first trophy with the club. A goal by Casemiro and an own goal by Sven Botman saw United win and the two Argentine players adding trophies to their cabinet.
Alejandro Garnacho was on the bench for United and did not play in the final. For Lisandro, this is his first trophy with United to go with four he won at Ajax and the World Cup, Copa America and Finalissima with the Argnetina national team.
Garnacho has won his first senior trophy, having won last season’s FA Youth Cup with the club. Both players celebrated winning the trophy while wearing the Argentina flag.

Garnacho with the Argentina flag, hopefully settles the debate in his mind and for everyone else. Not that he is an absolute must for us in my opinion. Still a very decent and promising youngster.
