Lautaro Martínez scores for Inter, qualifies for Champions League final

Lautaro Martínez scored for Inter in their 1-0 win vs. AC Milan as he helped them qualify for the Champions League final.

Martínez scored the only goal of the match in Inter’s second leg against AC Milan in the semi finals. That goal, which made it 3-0 on aggregate, helped qualified Inter to the final of the Champions League.

The World Cup winner started the semi final match and with the score at 0-0, he received the ball inside the penalty area and a left footed effort would beat the goalkeeper and he would score.

He has now scored three goals in the Champions League this season. His first against FC Barcelona in the group, his second against Benfica in the quarter finals and now in the semi finals.

  1. Inter is on 8 winning streak run, they have the momentum. Inzaghi seems like a cup specialist, he never win league title as manager, but he has won Coppa Italia + 2 supercoppa with Lazio and Coppa Italia + 2 Supercoppa Italia with Inter. Now they’re in both CL and Coppa finals. I dont think its coincidence.

The Europa final will also have an Argentine since Roma, Juventus and Sevilla are all in semi.

Lautaro can break his personal best season by surpassing 25 goals mark.

  2. Now we wait for Julian Alvarez to get there past Vardrid and is an Argentine dream UCL! Vamos Argentina!

    • He is indeed, he contributed well against Holland and France. Taking into consideration he wasn’t 100% fit, he did everything he could and we can only benefit from him moving forward.

      • Yea , his two chances against Netherlands were blocked by defender and GK, not his fault. He missed two sitters against France but at least directly involved in the third goal. That backheel pass to Enzo was brilliant.
