  1. One of the best 48 hours of life. Brazil exit, CR7 exit, Argentina registers their best comeback knockout round win. We had so much of faults defensively & offensively. But the emotion & grit we displayed was incredible in last 15minutes. Dream comeback & i dont want to get into our improvement areas. One of those days where you should just soak the happiness & enjoy. Destiny gives Messi another day to thrill the world. Obviously we wont have this luxury when we meet Colombia or Switz or even England later. But lets just take it match at time & see how long this fun ride goes. Jus wish Scaloni trusted Barco & Simeone jr more.

  2. No matter the joy we feel right now, it needs to be remembered – Cabo Verde is ranked 64 in the world, Egypt ranked 24. Both games were lucky escapes.

Goals were scored from set pieces or crosses or rebounds or deflection, instead of a brilliant passage of open play like the glorious counter attack against France in the final or Messi’s magical run against Croatia.

There is something deeply wrong with this team. These tactics will not work against any of the top oppositions.
