Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Marcos Acuña of Sevilla.

Marcos Acuña could soon be playing alongside Emiliano Martínez and Emiliano Buendía. According to Matteo Moretto, the Premier League club are interested in the left back with there already being contacts between all parties involved.

Acuña joined Sevilla back in 2020 from Sporting CP where he won last season’s UEFA Europa League.

  1. I think Acuna still has at least a couple of good seasons in him but he’s 31 and being an attacking fullback becomes harder when you are at the wrong side of 30. Considering how much more physical the EPL is, I am not sure this is the best move for him. Fullback, especially an attacking one is a demanding position as is, let alone in a league like EPL.

    • Aggreed. I would still like him to go to Aston. New challenge as long as he can keep his legs under himslef
