The rumored Argentina starting eleven is out and Nicolás González has a good chance to start.

Argentina will play Ecuador in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday and coach Lionel Scaloni already has his eleven in mind. Per TyC Sports, Scaloni could start the same eleven that started the World Cup final but with one possible change.

Nicolás González has a good chance to start in place of Angel Di Maria and up front, it’s between Julián Alvarez and Lautaro Martínez. Per the report, here is the rumored eleven:

Emiliano Martínez; Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Nicolás Otamendi, Nicolás Tagliafico; Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister, Nicolás González; Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martínez or Julián Álvarez.

  2. Nico is a fighter. In-form player. Always loved his dedication as part of national team. Though not as naturally talented as Enzo. Di Maria should have been in starting XI. Ecuador plays physical game. The combination of natural dribblers like Di Maria and Messi would have done good for the team. A new journey begins for Scaloni and his men albiceleste.

  4. I wish they go fro di Maria and got early goa. But coach knows better there physical conditions. Also I like scaloni drops j.correa and simeone because they are not starter for the club. If beltran perform good I think next time angle correa too maybe drop.
