The Argentina national team remain number one in the latest FIFA rankings.
Lionel Scaloni’s team remain not only the Best team in the world, even on paper. FIFA released their latest rankings and there is very little change within the top 10 in the world.
Argentina remain at the top with World Cup finalists France in second place. Brazil stays in third with England in four and Belgium in five. Croatia stays at six and Netherlands at seven.
A change in the top 10 is that Portugal goes up one spot with Italy dropping one spot. Spain rounds up the top 10, which is where they were in the last rankings.
It was the start of the South American World Cup qualifiers in September and Argentina made it two wins out of two to remain at the top. A 1-0 win vs. Ecuador and a 3-0 win vs. Bolivia.
