Argentina won the 2022 Finalissimia against Italy, on this day two years ago.

The Argentina national team conquered Wembley in a 3-0 win vs. Italy in the Finalissima, two years ago today. The reigning Copa America champions played against the reigning European champions and it was Argentina with the win.

Lionel Messi with a dazzling display, Lautaro Martínez with the opening goal, Ángel Di María with another goal in anothe final and Paulo Dybala closed it all up with a goal as a substitute.

That was them most dominant performance I’ve seen from Argentina in competitive game in last 15 years. Before that was the 3-1 victory against Brazil in 2005.
