The Argentina national team remain number one in the latest FIFA rankings for June.

Lionel Scaloni’s team played two friendly matches in June and won both. The first was a 1-0 win vs. Ecuador and the second a 4-1 win vs. Guatemala in Washington. Here are the latest FIFA rankings:

  1. These rankings do not make much sense. Nobody would give any extra inch of movement to Argentina because they are number one. Scaloni’s team need to fight as if they are starting from scratch on a journey to bring the country their cup in a long long time.
