Players available for Argentina against Peru in World Cup qualifier

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will be without five players for their match against Peru in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier.

Lionel Scaloni will not have Nicolás González, Germán Pezzella, Lisandro Martínez, Nahuel Molina and Cristian Romero against Peru. Nahuel Molina and Cristian Romero played in the 2-1 loss against Paraguay but were substituted out due to an injury.

Facundo Medina was called up before the match against Paraguay and is with the team. Here are the players available for Tuesday’s match.

I understand changing lineups and formations every match like Diego Maradona’s and Sampaoli’s tenure is nothing but madness but Scaloni needs to accept the fact that Otamendi, Acuna, Tagliafico, Pezella barring any miracle will be finished by 2026 WC. He has to inject young blood even if that means defeat. We have great talents waiting for more responsibility but if we only pursue with Depaul, MacAllister, Enzo then he will endure a huge disappointment in the upcoming world cup. I am not implying these players must be out but we can’t let lack of motivation after winning a world cup affect the whole team. Scaloni has to try new formations with new players and I mean start them and give them ample chances like he did with Nico Gonzalez, Montiel, Molina and all!
