  1. If I say that Angel Di Maria, at 36 years, has more goals and assists this season than the rest of the national team’s wingers COMBINED, I will ONLY be exaggerating a little bit.

    • Pressuring Dimaria back to the NT will signal a wrong message which will look selfish to me.
      Why should the players pressure him. They should leave that to Scaloni. Infact I prefer a scenario where no player is guaranteed his spot to emergence of more competent players.

      He will be 38 by then in 2026. Should Messi & Dimaria choose to play next world cup, am afraid likes of Pezella & Otamedi might decide against retirement to the detriment of younger and better players.
