Lionel Scaloni held a press conference on Monday where he spoke about the young players. Here is what he had to say:
“We believe it is important to see other players in tomorrow’s game. The idea is to make some changes because I think those who have played less deserve to have some time on the field.
“Recently, young players have emerged who can give us different options. The team’s identity is always the same, regardless of who plays.”
The Argentina national team will play Ecuador on Tuesday in the team’s last World Cup qualifier.
