Alejandro Garnacho scores first goal for Chelsea in 2-1 loss vs. Sunderland

Alejandro Garnacho scored his first goal for Chelsea, but it wasn’t enough as the team fell 2-1 to Sunderland at Stamford Bridge on Matchday 9 of the Premier League.

The Argentine international, born in Madrid, opened the scoring just four minutes into the match. Playing on the left side, Garnacho dribbled past his defender with a step-over move and fired a low left-footed shot past Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs.

It took Garnacho seven matches to find the net since joining Chelsea in late August after leaving Manchester United. Chelsea also featured Enzo Fernández in the starting lineup.
