Emiliano Martínez is set to start for Argentina at the World Cup.

Martínez underwent tests on Thursday and he will be starting for Argentina against Algeria. According to Gastón Edul, the Argentine has recovered from his injury and is set to be available for Argentina.

The Argentina national team medical staff decided to remove the cast from his ring finger and he trained with the rest of the group wearing gloves for the first time.
