Tagliafico was with the Argentina national team on Sunday and trained with the ball. According to Maximiliano Grillo, Tahliafico trained and will miss Argentina’s match against Algeria at the World Cup but he is progressing.
The 33 year old is set to miss Argentina’s first two matches at the World Cup against Algeria and Austria due to a mild strain in the soleus of his right leg.
We want him back soonest. Medina is simply no match for what he does. Neither is good offensively. But Tagliafico gives his heart out to defending. Medina lacks the thing. Not sure what Scaloni was thinking when he kept Medina in the team even after the Iceland match.
