“The team is well and ready for the match tomorrow.
“Austria is a difficult opponent with very good players. They pressure well and they had a great qualification. No doubt, it will be a complicated match.
“There is no easy match at this World Cup.
“We try to watch every match. It’s great, you learn a lot of things and above all, we enjoy it.
“You can’t always dominate the ball in a match but the important thing is for the team to react when that happens.
“After Qatar, the team also had good games. The team is showing signs that it always wants to improve.
“Everyone is available to play.
Scaloni also spoke about Lionel Messi turning 39 years of age and his birthday:
“I want Leo to be happy, that is my dream for him and I believe of everyone.”
It would be a group topper decider. We surely want to avoid Spain in the next round by doing very well against Austria and Jordan. But as Scaloni says Austria is a real good team with a solid qualification. They started as good we did, if not better. While our first match was an extraordinary effort from Messi and a few others from our side, some like Lautaro, Almada, Montiel, Molina, Emi seemed rusty. But Austria played well as a unit with no clear hero of the match.
