    • Why? The rest of the team still hasn’t found their scoring form. They need a game without Messi to become more self reliant.

Messi can come on in the second half against tired legs and could easily score multiple goals.

He also has chroic some muscle fatigue issues , so this would give him some much needed rest.

    • Not a big deal IMO. I mean he recovered from an injury not very long ago. The last thing we want is overstress Messi’s body. I think he will still get some minutes in the 2nd half if he doesn’t start.

    • Why risk the all-time-best and only good player so far in the tournament in a match which is just a preparation game for the round of 16? Instead he would be subbed in for last 20-25 mins to ensure his rhythm is not broken. The others need to be given a chance to get back to rhythm. So far none has played upto his reputation except the two central defenders and Emi on one freekick occassion.
