we are too afraid of one on ones. what happened? nico paz is the only one attempting press forward. everyone else just refuses to turn around and make a run for it or make the clever pass, and instead just passes it back. this style of play won’t work a second time against france or brazil at this rate.
Paz getting more and more involded. Julian and Paredes looks a bit rusty still and would like Simeone be a bit more brave when attacking. Want to see Barco coming on…. Satisfied with 2-0 lead and how the game went for until the penalty, but after that there were some sloppy passes and possession was lost too many times, when Jordan started to press, though it did last for that long….
The miss from Lautaro before the penalty was a criminal offense.

this is what argentina’s team may look like after messi, glad some of the guys like Nico Paz, Lo Celso, Julian, and Lautaro are getting a chance to play together. though I think for a low stakes game like this emi and ottamendi should also have been rested and rulli should have been getting time.
