Giuliano Simeone set to play right back for Argentina vs. Jordan at World Cup

Giuliano Simeone is set to play as right back for Argentina against Jordan at the World Cup.

Simeone will be in the starting eleven for Argentina but not as a forward. According to Gastón Edul, Simeone will play as a right back against Jordan.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is expected to make changes to the team for the match against Jordan. Gonzalo Montiel started as a right back for Argentina in the 3-0 win against Algeria and Nahuel Molina started as a right back in the 2-0 win against Austria.

  1. Do people have opinion about Portugal Vs Columbia match, because the winner has a chance of playing Argentina in the quarterfinals given we also progress? I would love Portugal to finish second and move to the other side of the bracket.

    • I would rather Argentina face Portugal. I think they are an easier opponent than Colombia

    • So far looking like Colombia as also a draw will send them to same side of bracket with Argentina, but i think i would also rather have Argentina to face Portugal than Colombia….difficult question indeed and hopefully Argentina reach QF’s and beyond and beat any team coming their way!

    • Yes, it does and i quess Montiel is not fit enough to start, but hopefully Molina just rested….
