The Argentina national team will play the World Cup final against Spain in their sky blue and white kit.
Argentina wore their blue kit in their 2-1 win against England but will wear their sky blue and white shirt. They will wear white shorts and the socks will be white.

I have been a fan since 2002 from Haiti and have been following Mundo since 2010 after moving to New York. Been reading your comments from high school, college and as a pro. Keep it going guys.
Congratulations . After all the heartbreaks, we truly deserve the glory of the past five years. Godin, your input has always been spot on, especially after the Saudi Arabia loss in Qatar, you stayed calm and believed in this team.
I’m thankful for all the happiness the players and coaching staff have brought us over the past five years. They owe us nothing more. I’m hoping to enjoy this Sunday’s final with a win. Cheers and peace to all.
Thank you, bro. We have to stay positive and believe things will go our way. Plus, Argentina is a hell of a team; they will always fight no matter what. That is why many national teams don’t like Argentina, because they are winners, and they are kind of jealous or envious of the Argentinian national team.
It’s not just winners it’s how why they won heroic sent from heaven d10s maradona Messi the spiritual side the tango the history
The target in there backs for being MAGICAL religious a cult even
It comes down to plain old fashioned envy hate jelously
Germany England brasil uragyay holland all euro sides have this weirdo deep hatred for the team
It’s what makes me thete biggest fan also its people who know the special history the imposible football they play the tactics they invented the tics taca the tango the good feet
Argentina have to fight do hard every game because of it
FIFA played a huge part in making Argentina the ENEMY
also
Yes! Wishing the best for Argentina in finals.
Would Scaloni give Simeone another start? It may not be a bad idea. For the first time in this knockout phase, he’d be up against a full-back closer to his own physical profile in Marc Cucurella—although the gap in technical quality is significant. Even so, Simeone’s relentless pressing could be valuable.
Cucurella was outstanding against France, constantly providing width and an outlet on the left. If Simeone can pin him back or force him into a more defensive role, Argentina would remove one of Spain’s major attacking outlets. That, in turn, would ease the burden on Molina or Montiel, allowing Argentina’s right-back to play a more natural game instead of constantly worrying about overlapping runs.
My preferred starting XI:
Dibu
Montiel – Cuti – Lisandro – Tagliafico
Simeone (press Cucurella relentlessly), Paredes (disrupt Rodri), Mac Allister (link midfield to attack), Enzo (double up with Tagliafico on Lamine Yamal while driving Argentina forward)
Messi – Julián Álvarez
The key, for me, is not simply stopping Yamal or Rodri individually. It’s disrupting Spain’s left-sided rhythm through Cucurella. If Argentina wins that battle, the entire defensive shape becomes more manageable. Rodri is the player around whom Spain build their possession. He sits in front of the defence, rarely loses the ball, switches play, and prevents counterattacks. Against Spain, Paredes’ primary battle is likely to be with Rodri.
We are underdogs for a reason, we are essentially playing a machine, and the Barcelona team. Their defense is out of this world, their possession rate and how they quickly retrieve possession when they lose it is exceptional.
However, the things that give me optimism that cannot be measured are passion, grit, heart, and the ultimate clutchness and super weapon – MESSI – and that the team will die for him and give it all they have.. this can’t be assessed with analytics.
Another thing that will give us the edge is our South American butchness and bringing grit and chaos to the game. Spain doesn’t have this and it throws their game off. Their manager was recently interviewed and he said the same thing, it’s the only strategy he’s concerned about his players being thrown off. If you rewatch the Uruguay game, they played them really hard and gave Spain plenty of problems – yes they lost but that was because of Uruguays goalie who couldn’t stop an easy chip in on goal. This can go either way… we lose big time and they exploit our flawed defense .. or we make this a war and edge out a win.
Key players that will make this a chaotic game is starting Simeone again, I’d like Montiel in because he showed out last game.. keep Molina out. Bring DePaul in the second half along with L Martinez.. Otamendi was great for us as well. And I think we should start Nico Gonzales.
Agreed. I look to Belgium game for reference. Belgium hold them for quite longer without their best inform midfielder plus no sharpness in front. Compared that we have better midfielder and defence and don’t talk about our sharpnesses as everyone knows. I still feel we did not hit the prime yet in this tournament and hopefully it’s Sunday they peak . I’m just worried about keeping the ball and getting it as Spain team is very good at it. Referee will be big big part in that game. Hopefully we can rough em up a bit at the beginning to throw them off
Agreed. I did not see that game, but looking at the stats and highlights, you are right. Spain had only one shot on target vs Uruguay, and that was the mistake goal. Scaloni knows best, he will analyze this for sure
There is so much to settle hopefully. Although we don’t have any rivalry or anything against Spain but Spanish media said so much crap about us through this World Cup specifically that guy called Maldini or something . I don’t know what will be the tactics and all, since it will be hot so we can’t run around too much I guess . All of you can come up with some scenarios for fun debate! As far my thoughts I believe that Spain doesn’t score much so I still believe our defence needs to click and can keep them in bay for scoring. Secondly half time break is probably 30 minutes which we already experienced in last Copa final might work in our favour. As far for team it would be nice to start with extra midfield to out numbered Spain midfield but I feel like Nico might start for helping Tagla. Also won’t be surprised if Molina start again as Montiel might be needed for closing the game. Keeping ball out of them will be the game and if we keep them in bay somehow till first half then we have game In hand. As many said i would rather play Spain then France given our weaknesses in transition or that kinda individual players. Let’s hope for glory guys

I just find this video on youtube, if its true maan i am going to be a barco fan…
crazy passion for the team even while sitting on the bench
It is true. There are fan videos which confirm it. Immature move by a junior player. A bit embarrassing to be honest.
It happens. He did not do anything wrong he just ran to the filed. If anyone should be ashamed it would be the guy who slapped him and he got away lightly if I being honest coz only Ota was there if anyone else was there then Bellingham was in trouble also Paz should have fight Barco corner
His ginger temper could ruin him
And in are friendlys pre WC he was going in two footed the kid needs to grow up
Chill bros its the passion, we all know what english medias to current and former players and coach talk abt our boys… And even when then match started how they behaved and what their goal keepr did to maclister after saving the shot.. So its the heat in the moment and i like this kind of spirited players who wont feel prrssure they belive in talent
playing paredes, macllister, enzo all three gives defensive strength in the middle but it comes up with some cost too bcs all are kinda slow, here creates little bit less traveling space for messi in the attack, i like to see nico paz in this final game, one of this three subs or starter, paz is good at everything, he can tackle, he can create, he can shot, if he is a starter then i want him in place of enzo, and if he is a subs i want him subs of maccalister, i don’t want all this three is rotate with depaul, i would like to depaul as a subs if only if argentina has a lead to defend in final 10 to 15 minutes
Bro, let’s be real. You want to replaced either of those two goalscorers with Nico Paz? Enzo and Mac Allister have proven that they are a threat for their opponents. Especially Enzo, he scored in two come backs.
Agreed. Zero chance Paz starts. Less then one percent chance he plays.
Enzo and Mac might be goal scorer but not for full 90 minutes or always they have up they have down too Mac was too good for early matches but last game he was little reduced in game performance, Enzo long shots are powerful but you can’t keep thinking same approach going to work always, you have to be optimistic to use your strength in full potential with correct timing, Paz is good in everything specially in attacking midfield, I’m not saying off guard on of them for whole matches I’m saying , Argentina game reduces in creative senses from attacking third, all the goal Argentina drag out from the set pieces, you can’t always think same approach going to work always, you have to be alround in everything, Messi is very good at one two three passing football , Messi is getting less spaces in final third from the knockout matches , it says there is lack of quick creative player alongside of Messi who can do some magical movement, previously dimaria was there but this time he is none, it can be seen Messi is trying to cut inside the box but he can’t BCS opponents players getting more time to solely focus on Messi
Mac could be on 5 goals now instead of 1
There playing slowly its deliberate. Don’t see SLOW BRAIN wen we switch on plan b THERE BEASTS
I want either depaul/maclister to man mark Dani olmo he is the dangerous guy, yes yamal but somehow after watcing all the game of spain in this worldcup i got a feeling olmo is more threat…
Depaul pocketed neymer in 2021 final we need that depaul right now right here
Let that Albiceleste fly baby🇦🇷🇦🇷.
I heard there are some climate issues where the game is going to be played, hopefully doesn’t affect the game or the players
I am here in New Jersey. Yes there is a lot of smoke from a forest fire in Canada. Everything looks reddish outside and smells like a cedar sauna. Not ideal for training. However rains tonight into tomorrow will hopefully take it away.
Very excited we are wearing our home kit. Does anyone know our record with home kit vs away kit in finals?
white and blue: 3 times champion(78, 86, 22) 1 lose against Uruguay in 1930.
blue: 90, 14 both loses.
Ghostdeini is truly our in-house historian. Well done! In any case, it’s good news.
(Or his AI prompt is just on point. I think the former!)
nah, I am here since 2006. Just passionate about Argentinian football.
Haha thanks! Needless to say the blue kit is Mufa
That time it was not fifa independent cup, it was Olympic cup
I like home kit
That is a good cábala for those of you who believe in those things.
I live 3 miles from the Stadium, yesterday the air quality was awful. Today, Friday, it is much better. I live so close to the stadium, can practically see it from my house and was not able to afford to go to final. It’s ok I will cheer from home.
I live in the metro area too and also cannot afford a ticket. A friend of mine said his friends are going. Each paid $5,500 for a ticket.
That’s an insane price. In 1994 I paid $425 dollars for 4 games and one quater final. I got to see Argentina vs Nigeria, sadly Diego’s last game. I then paid $150 for semi final. Can you imagine what that would cost today?
