Lionel Messi spoke about the Argentina national team, the World Cup and Spain.
Messi was at the World Cup final Fanatics Fanfest and was asked by tennis player Novak Djokovic about the Argentina national team and the World Cup final. Here is what he had to say:
“We grew up playing football, wanting to have fun. We have a great desire to enter the match and enjoy it, as if we were returning to the place where we started in this sport when we were children.”
When asked about playing against Spain in the World Cup:
“It’s hard to play against Spain, you can’t always win. We will also try to stop Spain because it’s not just about Lamine, they have great players and a distinctive playing style and we also have our own weapons.”
