Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni spoke about the World Cup final and how Spain were the better team.
Lionel Scaloni returned to Argentina and spoke to the media on his way to the training ground. At the training ground, the Argentina national team coach spoke to the media once more. Here is what he had to say:
“Was the refereeing unfair? No, we lost because they were better. We have to admit it. We arrived running on empty, that’s the reality. There are times when you have to admit it and that will make us better.”

We lost because of your cowardly tactics. It was embarrassing to watch the final. Take the responsibility and leave with some dignity intact.
just get out, get the fk out man. tired of your nonsense, go find some other team to screw
Look at you, you talk empty. Which coach has been so successful in the history of Argentina football than Scaloni? Today things didn’t go well so you talking trash instead of encouraging them to do better next time. You think in life everything goes on well as we always want it right? Go fck yourself man.
shut it you dumb kunt. Success? he has been hella lucky after the world cup 2022. ADM, Messi, Goalie & defense clicked to provide those honors.
do you even understand football u stupid mofo?
We will be back next step Copa America 28. Lets Start the rebuild Vamos Albiceleste
Argentina did not lose only because of tactics or because Spain were better technically. They also lost because they reached the final with a physically exhausted core against the one opponent where fatigue hurts you the most.
The biggest lesson for Argentina in future tournaments would be: manage energy better and be willing to play more pragmatically against weaker opponents so that the key players arrive at the final at 100%.
Guys the Conversation which went viral on media. Where messi was telling the team to ” forget everything and focus”… It could be a tactical disagreement between the team and the manager before the game… Aguero said Messi had a clash with scaloni over tactical ideas.. this is it guys.. He Answered all our curiosity. It’s nothing to do with any conspiracy or anything but Probably a rebellion against the coach before the game…
“I honestly didn’t like how things ended in the final with the national team, especially with Messi having a disagreement with Lionel Scaloni. Messi told me he had a clash with Scaloni over the coach’s tactics and how he handled the match”- Aguero on stream
Can you share the original source for this? Don’t just post something you found on other forums. . I searched for the quote and couldn’t find any credible interview, livestream, or video of Agüero saying this.
If Agüero actually said this, there should be an original source, such as a clip from the livestream, an interview, or a reputable publication quoting him directly. Please share that rather than another forum or social media post repeating the claim.
Also, this story seems out of character for both Messi and Agüero. Neither is known for publicly gossiping about private conversations or airing internal disagreements within the national team. Without a credible original source, I would be very skeptical of this claim.
They were better or we let them play better? How many times we saw Argentina only plays better when we are playing in high line and putting half the team near opponents box ? Even 22 Argentina couldn’t play low block and defend their leads against Netherlands and France….
This is what aguero said
“”””Sergio “Kun” Agüero revealed in a livestream that Messi and the Argentina coach did clash after the World Cup final loss to Spain and also talked about how Messi’s teammates let him down.
“I honestly didn’t like how things ended in the final with the national team, especially with Messi having a disagreement with Lionel Scaloni. Messi told me he had a clash with Scaloni over the coach’s tactics and how he handled the match.
Messi told him there was no way they could sit back and let Spain have all the ball because they were going to lose that way, but the coach still insisted on playing a low block while waiting for a counter”” “”
“We arrived running on empty,”
Then why didn’t you rotate the backline and midfield? Otamendi, Senesi, Barco, Paz, Palacios, and Lo Celso were all grossly underutilized. Better squad rotation could have reduced the workload on key players and potentially helped avoid injuries to Romero and Lisandro Martínez.
You had an entire qualifying campaign to build squad depth and give these players meaningful minutes. Instead, the same core group was relied upon again and again, and now you’re saying the team arrived at the World Cup running on empty?
