Can you share the original source for this? Don’t just post something you found on other forums. . I searched for the quote and couldn’t find any credible interview, livestream, or video of Agüero saying this.
If Agüero actually said this, there should be an original source, such as a clip from the livestream, an interview, or a reputable publication quoting him directly. Please share that rather than another forum or social media post repeating the claim.
Also, this story seems out of character for both Messi and Agüero. Neither is known for publicly gossiping about private conversations or airing internal disagreements within the national team. Without a credible original source, I would be very skeptical of this claim.
They were better or we let them play better? How many times we saw Argentina only plays better when we are playing in high line and putting half the team near opponents box ? Even 22 Argentina couldn’t play low block and defend their leads against Netherlands and France….

Then why didn’t you rotate the backline and midfield? Otamendi, Senesi, Barco, Paz, Palacios, and Lo Celso were all grossly underutilized. Better squad rotation could have reduced the workload on key players and potentially helped avoid injuries to Romero and Lisandro Martínez.
You had an entire qualifying campaign to build squad depth and give these players meaningful minutes. Instead, the same core group was relied upon again and again, and now you’re saying the team arrived at the World Cup running on empty?
