Juan Foyth is a doubt for Argentina’s World Cup qualifying matches in November.
Foyth suffered a tear during Villarreal’s La Liga match against Athletic Club on Saturday and had to be substituted out. Tests were done and Foyth suffered a tear and is expected to be out between 15 and 20 days.
The 23 year old was back in the Argentina squad for the October World Cup qualifiers but did not play in any of the three matches. He is now expected to be excluded from the squad due to his injury.
Argentina play Brazil and Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers in November.
Foyth is getting too many injuries at his young age. I’m hoping he can rehabilitate. We need one more after out two leftbacks to give us some depth and choice.
